Weekly happenings in the Coulee…

As we get ready to leave April behind us, our community is gearing up for the Annual Colorama Festival, consisting of a Parade, Carnival, Flea Market and Rodeo including the special Cleatis Lacy Memorial Bull Riding May 11th, 12th and 13th as well as the Over The Dam Run on Mother’s Day. Our motel is filling fast with reservations, so if you need a room…don’t hesitate. It’s easier to reserve a room now and cancel 24 hours prior then hoping to find a room then and wandering around half the night.

The weekend of May 17 – 20 is the Sunbanks Blues Festival. That is a very fun weekend for everyone! The Grand Coulee Center Lodge is already filled with reservations on the 19th and 20th.

The fishermen are still arriving and the weather is changing on a daily basis. Whether it’s raining or snowing or the sun is shining, as they say “Even a bad day of fishing is better than any day at work” so it’s always a good time to come visit us.
